Points
How are the points in the “Top List” calculated?
You get points for official Ingress medals.

| Silver Medal | 2 points |
| Gold Medal | 3 points |
| Platinum Medal | 5 points |
| Onyx Medal | 7 points |
Points are based on medals that are available to all agents currently playing. Points are a snapshot of the current moment. If a medal is retired, your points will be recalculated.
The following do NOT earn points:
- Founder badge
- yearly Ingress anniversary medals
- medals that are retired, such as Seer (Archive) [original Seer] and Guardian
- medals that are not available to all agents (see exception below)
- special events, such as Cassandra Neutralizer or DarkXM
- events that require a paid ticket (such as GORUCK, OCF)
- agent level
- multiple recursions
- multiple onyx (Onyx double, triple, etc)
Exceptions:
- OPR and Scout do award points even if some agents are unable to perform these actions.
Recursion is worth 1 point (no matter how many times you have recursed).
TIP: When you view the medals on your profile, medals above the line count for points. Medals below the line do not count for points.
